Work stages

Preparing the workspace

Before starting work, it is necessary to clean the room from dust and debris, and also install a convenient workbench.

Setting up the work desk

  • Attach removable inserts with tools (circular saw and router) to the workbench.
  • Install a parallel stop and rulers for marking workpieces in T-tracks.
  • Adjust the stop according to the dimensions of the workpieces.

Preparing materials

First of all, you should choose the material. If the plywood will be outdoors, it is worth choosing laminated plywood. If you are doing interior finishing, you can simply oil the plywood.

  • Mark and cut the plywood into strips 14 cm wide.
  • Router the edges of the workpieces using a stop and clamps.
  • Sand the surface of the plywood panels.
  • For cross-cutting, use a circular saw fixed in T-tracks.
  • Router the end parts of the workpieces and blow them with compressed air.

Preparing for finishing

  • Cover the panels with oil for protection and color.
  • Let the workpieces dry, then polish them with abrasive cloth.
  • Before attaching the panels, apply primer and dark paint to the walls.
  • Use a laser level and level for marking.

Installation of plywood panels

  • Apply 8 dots of glue to the back side of the panels.
  • Attach the panels to the wall using a level control rail.
  • Additionally secure the bottom row with brackets.
  • Attach hanging cabinets to the rail and cover the gap with a decorative corner.

Using sliding workbenches

Sliding workbenches "PROfessional" are necessary for convenient work and accurate calculations. They provide reliable fixation of the tool and simplify the manufacturing process.

Which workbench to choose

  • With longitudinal T-tracks - suitable for most woodworking tasks.
  • With transverse T-tracks - convenient for simultaneous use of multiple tools.
  • With expanders - allow you to increase the working space up to 1345 mm.

"PROfessional" workbenches have a height of 860 mm and a standard width of 550 mm or 480 mm in a reduced version.
